Tanisha Ronay: You Are the Celebration

The Day Everything Changed

My name is Tanisha Ronay—but you can call me Nikki. I was born and raised in the Bronx, and for a long time, I lived my life like many of us do: putting everyone and everything else first.

The Special Occasion wasn’t born in a boardroom; it was born in my bedroom with a tiny sample bottle of perfume. I remember holding that glass vial, wanting to wear it for work, but stopping myself. “It’s too expensive,” I thought. “Save it for a special occasion.”

In that moment, a lightbulb went off so bright it felt like a divine wake-up call. I heard myself and shouted, “Wait a minute! I AM a Special Occasion!” I popped the cap and sprayed every last drop on myself right then and there.

From "Last in Line" to God’s Design

That morning, I realized something heartbreaking: I placed more value on a sample fragrance than on my own soul. As a woman of God and a woman of family, I was loving everyone else with a passion I refused to give myself. I was a giver, but I wasn't a recipient. I was making myself last in my own line.

Can you relate?

God showed me a love that day that moved me to tears. He showed me that a "special occasion" is something you plan for, get excited about, and bring a gift to. I realized I needed to start showing up for myself with that same energy.

My Mission: The Special Occasion

I didn't just find my worth; I found my calling. Being a "Special Occasion" means nothing if you don't help someone else discover theirs. I am here to help you see yourself through God’s eyes and love yourself through His heart.

Today, I stand as a transformational speaker, a friend, and a guide. My life is built on a few non-negotiables:

  • Laughter is a requirement.

  • Living my best life is a priority.

  • God is my ultimate foundation.

I am in love with LOVE, and I am on a mission to be a blessing to anyone I can reach. You are not a "maybe" or a "later." You are the main event.

I’m hoping to come to your city soon. Until then, remember: Don't save the perfume. You are the occasion!

I AM A SPECIAL OCCASION! YOU ARE A SPECIAL OCCASION!

This is not about me….this is about US!
